It has be known for decades now that the part of the brain used for developing language skills is the same part used for processing musical concepts. By giving a child the opportunity to start learning at a young age, music can act as second language. Furthermore, recent studies have demonstrated that music involvement for preschoolers can enhance their intelligence and increase their ability to grasp “abstract” concepts. Children who regularly participate in music have shown dramatic improvements in memory retention skills, hand eye coordination and spatial temporal reasoning skills. but most importantly, the overall experience will build a musical foundation for children in a fun and playful manner.
